What's new in Enzymic (Release Note)

October 30, 2016

Past few months have been busy for us. We started our pilot release back in July to selective advertisers and agencies. Response has been great. Many have provide great feedback, wishlist of features and what can be improved.

At the same time, we also started our outbound outreach program to few markets in SEA region and as test pilot in US market, and in the process of negotiating affiliate partner in SEA region. Introducing a brand new product category of "Content Advertising" is no easy feat, it requires targeting right audience, educating them on how Enzymic can help to catalyse their advertising and articulating our value proposition.

As we embark on the journey of achieving "Product Market Fit", our product development team has not been resting. We carefully listen to all users feedback, monitor performance and usage and continue to improve our product. With this note, we would like to announce some of the new features that was released in October.

Feature 1: New Ad format: Carousel Overlay

Carousel Standard Ad Format has been a popular content ads formats. So we introduce another new format for Carousel: Overlay format. Carousel Overlay allow title and headline to overlay on top of image and thereby allow larger ad space and fonts. See below on how Carousel Overlay format looks like:

Feature 2: New Ad format: Single Ad Format

One consistent feedback we received is that: "Yes, Enzymic Multi-links Ads are great and innovative, but for some campaigns, I have only have 1 offer to promote." So that's why we launch Single Ad format, that allow advertiser to create and serve minimum of only one ad. (**Even if advertiser just need one ad, it's always recommended to have multiple versions for A/B testing). Enzymic also allow on-the-fly creation of single ad across different ad sizes. Many conventional banner ads builder require user to create one ad for one size, but with Enzymic, user only need to create one ad, and the different ad sizes will be created and render accordingly. See below on how Single Ad format looks like:

Feature 3: New Ad sizes

New ad sizes are now available:

  1. List Format (Mockup) 300x250, 300x600, 970x90, 728x90
  2. Carousel Standard (Mockup) 300x250, 300x600, 970x250
  3. Carousel Overlay (Mockup) 300x250, 300x600, 970x250
  4. Single Ad Format (Mockup) 300x250, 300x600, 970x90, 728x90, 970x250

Feature 4: Copy and Paste Ad Unit

There are many scenarios that require users to create different ad units using similar ads. For e.g., user may want to run one ad unit using List format and another using Carousel standard format. To allow easy creation of multiple ads unit with similar ads, we have included a "Replicate" function, that allow the selected ad unit to be clone. Once clone, user can then access to the new ad unit and make adjustment.

Feature 5: New Ad servers support

We are happy to also announce that Enzymic is an approved Google 3rd Party Ad Server partner (hooray!). That means, our ad format and tag has been approve by Google and can be run on all Google Display Network and Doubleclick Bid Manager Inventory.

So as for now, we are also in support of:

  1. Doubleclick Campaign Manager (DCM)
  2. Doubleclick for Publisher (DFP)
  3. Sizmek
  4. Google Display Network
  5. AOL

Feature 6: Publishers and Agencies Features

Publishers and agencies are crucial partners of Enzymic, and we strive to work our best to serve their needs. So we also include few features that are beneficial to them:

  1. Publishers and agencies can now create multiple advertisers. That means within just one agency/publisher account, you can now manage different advertisers.
  2. Publishers and agencies can upload their logo so when their advertisers login, they will be able to see the publishers/agencies logo, instead of Enzymic.

That's all for now! There will be more new features rolling out within next few months. Stay tuned!
